Where is the true origin of Cannabis? Where do you think it came from?

The human body is "hardwired" for Cannabinoids. Simply meaning a very long time ago, Cannabis played a role in human development.

The definitive origin for Cannabis is hazy at best. Not unlike origin of bananas and mango. And those fruits have long been contested as the fingerprint of intelligent design.

What does Sativa, Indica and Ruderalis mean to you?

Cannabis...

Sativa represents a sub-class that shows itself to be found in equatorial to temperate zones, it can be a tropical variety that is long season (typically found in Asia, the tropics and in the new world). These plants typically take 8-12 months in an outdoor setting to finish. The plant grows to tree like proportions and in some localities can even be treated as perrenial. The flowers are slow maturing and the high is typically centered in the "Head", I have read that Sativa types affect the cerebellum, lending themselves to be more of a "head" than "body" stone.

Cannabis Indica is a type that is typically found in harsher conditions, such as higher elevation and a wide range of temperature levels. The plant structure stays squat and compact (yet can be big depending on genetics), designed for high elevation and resistant to wind and cold. Buds tend to be resistant to pests and foliar problems, making them ideal for outdoor. The flowers have a quick build up, and typically finish in 3-5 months in an outdoor setting, and is treated as an annual. The flowers show trichomes very early in bud development, and the high is associated with a more "body" buzz, lending some to believe that this type is superior for medicinal applications. Quality landrace strains of Indica typically come from the middle east, like Afghanistan, Lebanon, and even India.

Ruderalis is a newly classified, yet disputed distinction of Cannabis. It has been known to be from the norhern Russian Continent and surrounding environs. It is known as an "auto-flowering" type, due to it's origin locality, it provides a very short grow season, which in turn makes for a quick growing type. Some dispute if this is just an Indica or Sativa that is just mis-classified.

I have no experience with the latter.

True origin of Cannabis

I think Cannabis is a gift from god for man to enjoy. In the words of Jesus Christ "I hereby present my gift to man, Cannabis.". Psalms 4:20.

hmmm..

Never heard of cannabis playing a role in human development.. Where did you come across such intriguing information?

I definitely began to wonder the exact same question during my early high-school days. But after doing my own research, I began to form an idea of its origin, and one that brought understanding to the amazing potential of Cannabis Sativa.

What does Sativa, Indica, and Ruderalis mean to you?

Cannabinoids activate

Cannabinoids activate receptors in many organs and systems that regulate functions. Our brains synthesize Anandamide, an endogenous cannabinoid neuro-transmitter to signal the cannabinoid receptors CB1 and CB2 that are present throughout the body. Our bodies produce cannabinoids in normal metabolism, we literally need Cannabis.

These cannabinoids, are essential to the Cardio vascular system, sexual reproduction, the nervous system, various faculties of the human body and interestingly the immune system. Various research is coming to light that shows cannabinoids actively attacts mutating cells.

These cannabinoids that regulate bodily function are found in the molecule THC, no where else in nature. This to me implies an ancient, maybe evolutionary relationship between man and this plant millennia ago.

Nice explanation

That was a very eloquent explanation, I appreciate your thorough approach.

I would love if you posted some more info in a Blog, or if you could send me some links to any videos or other information you have seen related to the subject.

Thank you & Namaste

Cannabinoids and You

Thanks, I engaged in a little research of my own to find this info on cannabinoids as they relate to vertebrates metabolism. The suppression of cannabis research in the mainstream, kind of legitimizes this argument, what do they have to hide from us and all the sick people suffering? If all the research points to nothing but long-term benefit and health, then why not hear about this from your physician or mainstream news?

Cannabis leads to a healthy body and mind. It's no surprise that everything marketed towards us tends to be unhealthy and adverse to our bodies. The additives in our food and the pharmocueticals all help to disrupt our bodily rhythym, and work against the body, and eventually lead to health problems later in life.

Cannabis works with the body's natural rhythym. Pharmocuetical companies know this, so they produce potent synthetic cannabinoids, all while blatantly denying cannabis as a valid medicinal source. They make billions off of cancer medicine and chemo, cancer rates are at epidemic rates, business is very good.

Genentech reported a second quarterly earning of $747,000,000!!!!!!
Up 41% since last quarter!!!! Goddaaamn!!! Their profit increase is directly related to increase of Cancer. Crazy.

Biotechnology is a weapon used against us, bottom line. They tout these earning figures as astounding, and phenomenal. That is sickening, they profit from sick and dying people. These drugs are EXPENSIVE, and they are very unforgiving on the body.

My cousin is an exec at Genentech headquartered in San Fransisco. He started as a salesman in the southeast and ascended up the echelon, now he is stationed at company headquarters in San Fransisco.
